Municipal and Rural Affairs Minister Prince Mansour bin Miteb reaffirmed the ministry’s role in evaluating business activity during Haj to improve future performance across Haj service sectors in coming years.

“The positive results we achieved this Haj are thanks to the effective directives issued by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah and his trusted crown prince to continually improve services to pilgrims through a comprehensive system,” he said. “All government agencies took part in this plan under the umbrella of the Higher Haj Council and the follow-up of the Central Haj Committee.”

Prince Mansour appreciated efforts made by ministry sectors, which also ensured the implementation of the operational plan during this Haj season to guarantee the safety and comfort of pilgrims as they performed the pilgrimage.

These included the under-secretariat of the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs, the central administration of development projects and Makkah’s general secretariat.

The minister valued the efforts made by government authorities and companies in cooperating with the ministry to make this year’s Haj a success and portray a positive image of the country’s efforts in serving the guests of God.
