A policeman was shot dead by an unknown gunman in Qatif in the Eastern Province on Tuesday night.
According to a spokesman of the Eastern Province police, the firing took place at 11:30 p.m. in a suburb called Al-Jishi.
The targeted police officer was identified as Sami Mouawad Awad Al-Harbi. The killer shot the police officer from a moving car, said the spokesman.
The police have arrested two suspects, he added.
On Sunday, the Interior Ministry announced the killing of a wanted terrorist during a gunfight in the town of Al-Qudayh.
He was identified as Mohamed Ali Abdul Rahim Al-Faraj.
