TABOUK: An Arab expat family — husband, wife and their two children — were found dead in their home in Tabuk on Saturday.

The city police announced that they have launched an investigation into the case.

The police said the brother of the deceased knocked on the door of the family’s house two days ago, but no one answered.

A police statement noted that the door and windows were locked from inside, prompting a Civil Defense team to rush to the scene.

When they arrived, they found the bodies in one of the rooms.

It is believed that the family died due to suffocation resulting from the smoke from the heating system in the room. The bodies are in the city’s morgue.
