Board members of the Kingdom’s chambers of commerce and industry will not be allowed to contest for three consecutive terms, according to a directive issued by Commerce and Industry Minister Tawfiq Al-Rabiah on Wednesday. “Chamber board members, who have completed two consecutive terms, will not be elected or appointed for another term except after the completion of a full term,” the minister said. The decision came as part of the efforts to strengthen the role of chambers across the country.
