JEDDAH: The World Circus continues to hold its successful event in north Obhur for the 10th day.

The shows have attracted thousands of visitors wishing to have fun and exciting times.

The circus continues to hold their shows which began July 18 and runs until Aug. 18. The events are taking part as a part of Jeddah Gheir 36, the biggest event in Jeddah and the region.

The event comes as a part of Jeddah governorate and the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry to have entertaining events for the audience.

The shows take place twice a day, one a 9 p.m. and one at 11 p.m.

The circus features talented artists from Italy, Russia, Ukraine and Uzbekistan whose attractive and comic shows are bringing joy to children of all ages as well as older people with daring acrobatics, gymnastics, jugglers, the ring of death and balancing acts. These traditional acts express the artists’ talents and physical abilities.

Waleed Issam Alfi, head of the organizing committee, said that the idea was planned for a while. “I decided to have the circus alongside the Jeddah Gheir event for people in Jeddah to enjoy.”

He explained that preparations for the circus took more than a month, adding that they invited artists from different areas of the world to have a unique and universal show. “We had many challenges and we overcame them to have a high-level event,” he added.
