Alliance in Motion Global recorded the first perfect score of 44 points on the way to consecutive Team of the Week and Bowler of the Week double during the 15th session in the FTBJ-ICBL 33rd Conference bowling tournament at Jeddah Lanes here.

After securing the maximum possible total Alliance could have had the lead in the bag.

But it was not to be as league leader Paradise Island responded to the challenge with a second-best tally of 36 points.

The virtual shootout resulted in a mere 6.5 points separating the two teams at the top of the team standings.

Lucky Strike pooled 31 points in third place on the day with Lance & 3rdy the the third team to reach 30 points. Boleros, a distant third in the standings, compiled 25 points, while Sky Freight Forwarders and Hidada Ltd. tied on 22 points.

D’ Barkads carded 19 poins, Taurus RDLR had 16, MJ Bowlers 11 and GM Pin Pals 8 points.

Randy Mata completed an Alliance double a week after daughter Michelle pulled the same feat for their team.

Led by Mata, who shot the high series of 705 to become the men’s Bolwer of th Week, Alliance in Motion swept the first-place points of 11 for all three games and overall output.

Mata carded scratch games of 178, 258 and 268 in an inspired display that rubbed off on teammates Cris Villavelez 669, Michelle 626 and Grace Funtillon 617 from the distaff side, Bonnie Garcia 235-206 and Paolo Allego 190.

Paradise Brand claimed a piece of the awards on offer courtesy of proud grandma Fuly S. Primo, who defied Father Time once again when she rolled 640 (174, 180, 178) to put away the ladies Bowler of the Week plum.

Rey Beltran also had a solid game for Paradise on 628 with Marie Gumpal on 551. Tam captain Igna Salgado contributed 226-192, Fahad Al Romai 210-186 and Nick Gozun 225-189.

At Lucky Strike Nurissa Ramos led the way on 630 followed by Archie Santos 575 and Matet Cavite 565. Sharing two games each were Frank Afurong 191-192, Rudy Valenzuela 188-194 and Danny Bautista 194-167.

Another lady bowler shot the top score at Lance in Shirley Sagmit who fired 627 to go with the 609 by Ding Dela Rosa, 527 by Evelyn Santoc, 205-209 by Nonie Yap, 209-181 by Wilson Triguero, and 160-203 by June Estefano.

Cesar Monares fired 615 at the helm of Boleros who used a six-man rotation. Gail Mata came through with 563 with Luz Pagaran on 152-139 and Jeanette Cerbito on 183-184. Rene Punzalan tallied 581, and Pancho Cuevas had 528.
