JEDDAH: Mayaco’s Asghar Khan’s unbeaten 136 and Hala Academy Blue Abdul Aleem’s 108 was the highlight of the day in the Summer League cricket tournament, organized by the Western Province Cricket Association held last recently.

In the Morning League, Asghar Khan’s ton help his team rout Sadafco by 125 runs while in the Afternoon League Abdul Aleem’s Hala Academy eased past Hala School by 31 runs. The three matches held in the Premier Summer tourney tended to be one-sided. AOT defeated Islamic Development Bank by 78 runs while My Care Hala and Dopco Stars routed Al-Ghamdi and Hala Friends by eight-wicket margins.

In the Afternoon League, Zultrack got the better of AMI Juffali by 12 runs, Thales Group thrashed Contraco by 7 wickets, Al Safri trounced Hala Academy White by 4 wickets while Thales Group thrashed Contraco by 7 wickets. Thales achieved their victory target of 151 for 3. Waqas stroked an unbeaten 57 and Amir Shahzad got 41.

In Morning League, Mercedes’ Imran claimed 5 for 17 to help his team get the better of Jeddah Challengers by 12 runs.
