Bowling City-Sarawat clinched the Team of the Week award with the No. 1 spot to boot in a promising performance during the fourth session in the Sarawat Jeddah Thursday League 11th Season at the Bowling City in Sultana Center.

The host bowlers came up with the top tally of 31 points, well in front of Week 3 honoree Orient Watch and D’ Barkads, who returned identical totals of 23.5.

The result enabled Bowling City-Sarawat to leapfrog D’ Barkads and Bibi Best Choice for the lead in the five-man team Thursday night league event.

Pin Dot pooled 23 points followed by Bibi 21.5, Habagat 17.5 and D’ Engineers 17. Bulacan Knight and Fine Boyz Rhinos brought up the rear on 13 and 10 points respectively.

Pancho Cuevas actually set up a double for Sarawat when he rolled the high series of 626 on scratch lines of 200, 200 and 202 to become the Bowler of the Week.

Cuevas was at the vanguard of a five-man rotation that had Ruben Grino and Cris Villavelez on 597 and 592, while Archie Santos added 560 and Frank Afurong 514.

Orient Watch had three players going the full distance in Sami Al Qarni 568, Danny Bautista 529 and Abdul Mugawan 506. With two games each were skipper Obie Ycasas 196-187, Jim Mandigiado 154-165 and Jawett Carion 184-188.

D’ Barkads likewise used a six-player combination with the trio of Romy Bunagan, Rudy Valenzuela and James Galvan shooting 554, 519 and 514 to go with the 192-167 by Rey Beltran, 223-199 by Ladio Gonzales and 172-202 by Leo Edejer.

For Pin Dot the main man was Bonnie Garcia on 587 with Cesar Monares on 578 and Jack Jarin on 516. The other scorers were Ally Bin 136-172, Phepz Niere 140-204 and Mike Protcio 167-168.
