The mother-and-daughter tandem of Farida and Randa de Guzman enjoyed a 1-2 finish in the women’s division while Robert “Arman” Gamboa emerged the men’s Bowler of the Month for April during the OFBC Monthly Tournament at the Ice Land Bowling Center here.

Farida and Randa both never had podium finishes in the last three events of this competition leading up to the Bowler of the Year Championship 2014 in December.

But April is a month to remember with mother Farida taking the Bowler of the Month title with two-game series with handicap of 374 and daughter Randa emerging first runner-up on 351.

Kristhea Mae Busico earned her first podium finish at second runner-up on 331, while top qualifier Minda Guevarra duplicated her March 3rd runner-up feat on 328.

Gamboa won a battle of Class C bowlers with Cesar Pagtalunan to claim the men’s title 373 to 369, while OFBC Commissioner Joel Nidoy finished second runner-up on 361 and Benj Espinosa third runner-up on 348.

Pagtalunan was also first runner-up in February while Class A Nidoy was twice first runner-up (January and March).

The club awarded cash prizes to the winners.
