EPO-L won a Best Team of the Week and Best Bowler of the Week double courtesy of Jove Marano during the 5th session in the Alyoum–FBGR Tuesday Bowling League 13th Conference at the Universal Bowling Center (UBC) here.

EPO-L, mentored by Lope Ramirez, blanked Dabarkads of Charlie Cheng 4-0 (22-4 points) with individual awardee Marano in charge hitting the high series of 852 on lines of 248, 192, 192 and 220.

Complementing Marano’s efforts were Ramirez 826, Atoi Ramos 803, Reynald Medina 712, Ed Untalan 379 and Danny Nabong 338. Ruel Pingol led Dabarkads by posting 760 followed by Obet Miranda 704, Charlie Cheng 680, Larry Manalo 512, Donjie Mapalad 185 and Jude Lozano 174.

TGIT Genesis of Rollie Cleofe upset current No. 1 T3S Warrior of Nelson De Vera 13-10 points in 2-2 match. Cleofe, top-scored for the winning team on 810 points. He got good support from Bernie Bacani 796, Angel Caasi 746, Boy Mirando 686 and Rizal Dellosa 639. For T3S Warriors, scorers were Joel Lambo 762, Fareed Aquino 720, Arnold Jesena 719, Jojie Manalansan 716 and Nelson De Vera 682.

In another match, Breakers, mentored by Shakur Kamlian, defeated Die Hard of Ric Urrutia Jr. 14-7 ( 2-2 ). Joselito Santillan led Breakers with 797 points followed by George Sto. Domingo 782 and Joe Rafael 656 while with three games were were Jojo Miraflor 544 and Clem Ojeda 506. Kamlian added 372. Ruby Urrutia spearheaded Die Hard with 763 with Nap Torres on 718, Rudy Usudan 689, Butch Mateo 682 and Jess Ambon 650.

Minions, mentored by Dhong Yamco, recorded an 18-7 victory against UBC Family of Lulu Quejada. Leading scorers at Minions were KC Enriquez 828, Vicky Vitug 793, Romy Repia 778, Dong Yamco 721 and Jao Urbano 684. The losing side’s top scorers were Abdullah Amoudi 715, HRH MS 687 and Bembol Velasco 679. Celis Viloria added 558, Yasser Aburaish 377, Dennis Gabriel 364 and Quejada 160.

Elsewhere, UFTBR of Armin Isles blanked the new team Almarai CPP of Manny Dolon 19-0, Almarai sister company Alyoum of Jhun Daniels downed Tsamba Bowlers of Abdulrahman Ahmed 14-11, and Enigma Bowlers of Bandar Al-Marshad edged IBG Storm of Ric Singson 16-12.
