Fed X Ally and D’ Mountaineers wound up tied on 27 points but the total pinfalls tiebreak went the way of Fed X giving the Khalid Bustinera-led squad its third consecutive Team of the Week award after the third session in the OFBC Friday Morning League Season 1 at the Ice Land Bowling Center.

Fed X ran out 18-2 winners over Mixed Shots while Mountaineers shut out The Luf’s Strikers 20-0 for respective rank points of 9 and 7.

And Fed X had the better pinfalls of 2,658 to Mixed Shots’ 2,570.

Jandel’s Pride enjoyed another steady performance to finish on 26 points after a 20-0 blanking of D’ Cyclone on total pinfalls of 2,573-2,411 and rank points of 6-4.

Elsewhere, Lance & 3rdy drew with Pairs and Spares 10-10 for totals of 20-18, total pinfalls of 2,820 and rank points of 10 and 8 while Flexibowl beat Nomac 12-8 (2,372-2,375 2-3) for totals of 14-11.

The Lance-Pairs matchup produced the individual awardees of the week with Ed Sardiña of Pairs as the men’s Bowler of the Week and Lance’s Evelyn Santoc as the ladies Bowler of the week.

Sardiña shot the high series of 599 while Santoc posted the top score of 567 in her division.

Team captain Khalid led by example shooting Fed X’s top score of 573 to go with the 558 by Ed Cordova and 507 by Fedelyn Bustinera. Cesar Monares and Peps Niera each rolled two games of 182-158 and 136-143 for Fed X.

D’ Mountaineers had a single set of five players whose complete games counted toward the team total, led by Hadi Pacheco with 582. Ding Dela Rosa carded 551, Jayson Castillo had 520, Lourdes Punzalan made 507 and Lito delos Reyes added 464. Their opponent, Luf’s Strikers, had Class B bowler Edu Toledo leading the way on 500.

The trio of Benj Espinosa, Jana Delia Felesmina and Archie Alcantara spearheaded the Jandel charge on 578, 535 and 522, while skipper Bob Stone tallied 509 with Lexter Atienza (110-113) and Beng Velasco (115) rounding out the scoring.

Besides Santoc the others that did well at Lance were Eidris Mangoda and Steve Historillo with respective rounds of 589 and 569. Jun De Dios added 542, Shirley Sagmit 130-135 and Ric Reformado 180.

Over at Pairs, Akang Victorino and Jun Estefano supported Sardiña with rounds of 560 and 504.

Danny Manrisa at 530 was the main man at Flexibowl with Rommel Marasigan on 488 and Bessie Bautista on 362.
