JEDDAH: Saudi German Hospital staff who are bowling enthusiasts got together on Friday at Ice Land Bowling Center for the 1st SGH Fun Games.

When the dust settled, Incredidowls emerged champion in the one-day event oganized in cooperation with the OFBC (Overseas Filipino Bowlers Club) officers and members.

The champion team is composed of Mari Mendoza, Carol Rio, Gesille Rojas, Clarence Getalado, Marlon Ricamara, Marlon Peralta, Mark Roy Suyat, Dan Garret and Bryan Cachopero.

Under the tournament format the field of 10 teams was cut by half after playing two games with handicap eliminations. The remaining five teams bowled a further two games to determine their final standings.

Incredibowls totaled 852 pinfalls in the finals, well ahead of Leave No Pin Standing, which was first runner-up on 835. The second runner-up prize went to Dynamic Striking Thugs on 829. Rounding out the top five were Pin Busters, 3rd runner-up on 794 and King Pin Strikers, 4th runner-up on 764.

Special awards were handed out as follows: high scorer final game Marlon Peralta (Incredibowls) 156, high female scorer Mari Mendoza (Incredibowls) 130, high male scorer eliminations Jilsen Palma (Gutter Punks) 160 and high series Deyaa Belal (Dynamic Striking Thugs) 388.

The order of finish among the teams that failed to reach the finals: 6th place Wrecking Bowls, 7 th place Lucky Strikers, 8th place The Canalysts, 9 th place Kit Kat Breakers and 10th place Gutter Punks.

Fun Games organizer Demetrio Velasquez would like to acknowledge the invaluable support of the following: OFBC officers headed by Edwin Ronquillo and Vangie Lim, Dr. Mohd.
