Jameel Renewed used a strong fourth quarter to score an 82-74 triumph over NCB Quick Pay in the OFBL Non Rated A Evening Division at Timeout Sport Academy Stadium on Television St., Ghulail District on the outskirts of Jeddah last Friday.

Down by 4 points, Jameel Renewed launched an 8-0 run to have its first taste of the lead and to gain momentum, employing pressure and tough defense to build a 63-55 lead, a good cushion with 6 minutes left in the fourth quarter.

Although NCB managed to close the gap to just 4 points in the last 2 minutes of the game, JR remained strong to foil a potential enemy comeback attempt. The dominance off both boards of key players Macarulay and Jahma was the big difference for Jameel.

Jahma had big performance scoring 19 points with 8 rebounds as he proved unstoppable, attacking inside the paint without fear.

Macarulay finished with 18 points, Amilhamja added 11 points and Barry contributed 10 points along with 10 big offensive rebounds.

For the losing team, Ballinan and Encabo combined for 40 points.

In the other bracket Non Rated A division, Awdah raced to an early big lead and cruised to an 81-69 victory over Triple M.

Sanchez finished with 20 points, 18 of them in the first quarter alone, Magat made 9 and Plumernis 6 points for Awdah.

Bartlano scored 20 points, Pajuro added 14 points, Mcalia 11 and Mabarit 10 points for the losing team.

In a thrilling Bracket C Inter-Company Bonafide Division game, NRF hung on for an 87-71 victory over Unicorp.

Nabon spearheaded NRF with 18 points, followed by Tapdasan 17 points and Cabral 11.

Carenio scored a team-high 18 points for Unicorp.

In the same bracket, Fitaihi defeated IBN Sina 64-52. Calipay led the Fitaihi offensively with 19 points.Oflair added 10 point. For the losing team, Rosero and Dimayuga scored 20 and 10 points respectively.

In Inter-Company Bonafide B, Hidada defeated UDH 79-66.

Hidada was without some of its key players but Laguyo ably filled the void to score 24 points with Pasculado hitting 15 points. Atienza’s 20 points led UDH.

In Non-rated Division B, Grain Silos won against Schindler 82-75 with the trio of Macaspac, Abubo and Bautista tossing in 16, 12 and 11 points.

The scorers at Schindler were Reyes 19, Espiritu 11 and Hariri 8.

Meanwhile, in the OFBL Friday Morning Games, Jamjoom Pharma outclassed Al Wajan 84-72 in Bracket C division.

Jamjoom enjoyed a balanced offense with all players fielded contributing their share, led by Bustamante 17 points, Cudal 15 and Rosero 15 points each and Abella 10 points. Caganda had 16 points and Burgos 15 points for Wajan.

In Bracket B, Gentleman downed A.V.K. Wild boys 69 -64.

Ballina scored 23 points and Encabo had 21 points for the winning team.

In Bracket A , Jeddah Phoenix crushed Pattaya 93-78. Paul Taguba spearheaded the winning team with 20 points, while Egam had 29 points for Pattaya

Toyota Yaris beat Pusakalz in Bracket C 87-70. Willard Baluyot with 15 points and LLamado with 13 paced Yaris. Pingul 15 points and Silverio 14 were at the helm of Pusakaslz.

Petromin Express brought down KAMC 73-68 in Inter-Company Reinforced Division. Padernal had a stellar night with 22 points for the winning team. Melencio had 21 points including 5 triples for the losing team.
