NAB were crowned champions when they routed Falcon by 100 runs in the Super Division T20 cricket league final, sponsored by Al-Houdh Trading company and organized by the Riyadh Cricket League, recently.

In the Premier Division final, Star XI edged past Evergreen 6ers by 10 runs.

NAB made first use of the track and put up 266 for 4 from the allotted overs.

The star for the winners was Imran Khan who scored a match winning 110 runs. He was supported by Usman, who scored 67 runs followed by Azher with 41.

Sajjad Khan took 2 wickets, while Zahid and Siraj took a wicket each. In reply, Falcon were never in the hunt and managed only 166 for 8 as wickets fell at regular intervals.

Sirajuddin (39), Farhan Khairi (31) and Nasir Shaikh (30) were the main run getters.

Muddasir took 3 wickets followed by Usman 2. Bashrat, Abbas and Nazir bagged one each.

Man-of-the-Match: Imran Khan

In the Premier Division final, Star XI batted first and were fall out for 156 runs. Waseem top-scored with 50 runs. Naveed (22) and Bilal (20) were the other scorers.

Adil, Jamshad, Khawar and Rizwan took 2 wickets each.

In reply Evergreen 6ers made a hash of the run chase and were bowled out for 146 runs.

Rizwan (38), Aqeel (35) and Jamsheed (22) were among the runs.

Wahid was the wrecker as he took 5 wickets while Yasir got 2 and Abbas 1.

The finals were witnessed by a large crowd and supporters from all four finalists.

Daud Ahmed, Marketing Manager Al-Houdh Trading Company, was the chief guest. Tanveer Siddiqui, of Amaq Contracting and Muneer Ahmed of Zultec were among the guests who witnessed the final along with RCL committee members.

RCL, senior adviser, Razaur Rahman, thanked the sponsors for their support and promoting the game in central region. Daud Ahmed said that he was delighted to see wonderful arrangement and facilities made by RCL for the players in Riyadh.
