JEDDAH: Par Excellence could have been as excited as the first time as it took all of two months to be a Team of the Week winner again during the 12th session of the 35th FTBJ-ICBL Sky Freight Forwarders League at the Bowling City here.

Par Excellence cashed in while the big guns seemingly took the day off to outscore everyone else and return the top tally of 43 points.

Ceebe Aviation was a distant second on the day with 39 points in a tie with Sagmit Dental Clinic.

Nine points adrift in fourth place was Rock n Roll followed by Sky Freight-OSN 26, and Hidada and league-leading Sadafco which tied on 25 points.

Fresh off back-to-back Team of the Week victories, Steelers this time could only muster 23 points, good for the eighth spot. D’ Barkads compiled 21 points while Masaken, Al Murjana and ICBL Mix Insert filled the last three places on 16, 13 and 12 points in that order.

The week’s honors evened out among the teams, as Cheryl Tibay of D’ Barkads and Ceebee’s Danny Bautista claimed the ladies and men’s Bowler of the Week award on 640 and 679 respectively.

While their rivals for honors had been bugged by up-and-down game Par, which won its first award on the third week, was humming along just fine, crowning its consistency by winning the overall output.

Team manager Yasser Al Hokbi guided his charges on 590 but it was Ester Santoc who pulled a surprise when she led all scorers on 605. The other player on the distaff side, Nurissa Ramos, carded 559 while sharing two games each for Par were Archie Santos 223-206, Jun Palacios 205-190 and Rudy Valenzuela 212-168.

The trio of Minda Guevarra, Charrie Guzman and Pancho Cuevas backed up Bautista as Ceebee with respective rounds of 577, 575 and 571. Frank Afurong tossed in 181-180 and Ryan Conde had 184.

Sagmit Dental Clinic had Ric Reformado leading the way on 608 with Shirley Sagmit and Evelyn Santoc hitting 562 and 532. Sharing two games each were Ver Jasa 169-177, Med Ramos 191-201 and Ding dela Rosa 238-206.

Ruben Grino took charge at Rock n Roll on 606 that went with the 592 by Lenlen Berina, 569 by Maloy Gime, 557 by Jayson Castillo, 165-212 by Faisal Relativo and 190 by Daryl Laquias.

At Sky Freight, Goying Salazar and James Galvan bowled big on 640 and 619 in a five-man team rotation that included Bonnie Garcia 570, Imelda Sayago 541 and Babes Tiongson 491.
