RTJ Transient House and American Garden sealed their ranking as the No. 1 and No. 2 finalists with emphatic performances on Week 14 at the end of eliminations in the OFBC Friday Morning League Season 2 at the Ice Land Bowling Center here.

Rampant RTJ declared its readiness for the championship battle in a way that has been the hallmark of its dominant campaign as it registered its fifth perfect score of 28 points and 7th Team of the Week award while crushing a hapless Pairs & Spares squad 20-0 on total pinfalls of 2,684-2,427.

American Garden was drawn against the bye team for its final assignment and ended up with the second-best 26 points off an automatic 20 match points and rank points of 6 from its total pinfalls of 2,670.

The rest of the teams outside of the top two play three games with handicap series to determine the three qualifiers to join RTJ and American Garden in the stepladder final. The first stepladder match will pit teams 4 and 5 with the winner to advance to another knockout against the No. 3.

No. 2 American Garden then plays the winner of the second stepladder match for the right to challenge RTJ in a two-game series championship matchup.

Beginning bowler Jayme Lugue of TFSJ Pin Crusher and Hyett Ann Achai of American Garden were the men’s and ladies Bowlers of the Week. Lugue shot 589 and Achai 606.

Elsewhere, Mixed Shots trounced D’ Luf’s Strikers 16-4 on total pinfalls of 2,681-2,511, rank points of 7-4 and total win points of 23-8, while TFSJ blasted D’ Cyclone 12-8 (2,652-2,415 5-2 and 17-10.

RTJ missed a potential perfect double after Malou Nidoy missed the ladies individual award by five pins on 601 at the helm of her team. The others that contributed in the RTJ five-man rotation were Kristhea Mae Busico 562, team captain Rudy Jamon 533, Joel Nidoy 522 and George Mangaliman 466.

Besides Achai the other scorers at American Garden were Louuie Pacia 532, Archie Alcantara 496, Robert Stone 177-141, Gino Vallejos 150-179 and Lexter Atienza 127-142.
