RIYADH: Sager scored a thrilling two-wicket win over Samarwa in a third round match of the Static Zone Twenty20 cricket tournament organized by the Riyadh Cricket League, here.

Samarwa batted first and put up 150 runs from their stipulated overs.

Amir was the only batsman who played a magnificent inning of 93 runs with the help of 14 boundaries and a six. Naveed and Inam claimed 2 wickets each.

In reply Sager achieved their target easily off 15.4 overs. Ataur Rehman top-scored with 56 runs while Rehman contributed 29. Hassan took 3 wickets while Tassadaq got 2.

In another interesting match RP got the better of Chanar XI by 13 runs. Raheel (60) and Salman (65) provided a solid start of 100 runs for the opening wicket. Faizan (20) and Suhail (17) helped RP put on board 222 runs. Abid and Jibran claimed 2 wickets each.

In reply Chanar XI gave a good fight but fell short. Munir was the inform batsman for Chanar XI as he top-scored with 73 runs. Rashid (33), Hadayat (20) and Gibran (29) were the other contributors.

Riyaz and Suhail bowled well and shared 4 wickets.
