Orient Watch won back-to-back Team of the Week honors and third overall during the eighth week in the Thursday League 11th Season for Sarawat Superstores Cup at the Bowling City in Sultana Center.

Unlike the previous week Orient Watch was a comfortable winner this time, compiling 33 points to 31 by D’ Barkads.

Bowling City finished on 27 points, Sarawat, beaten to the weekly award by a mere half a point by Orient Watch, pooled 23 points in fourth place on the day followed by Pindot 22 and Habagat.

D’ Engineers, Fineboyz Rhinos and Bulacan Knight brought up the rear on 14, 9 and 1 in that order.

To Mohd Amri of Sarawat went the Bowler of the Week plum after he shot the high series of 652 on scratch lines of 181, 211 and 215.

Bowling with, well, clockwork efficiency, Orient bowlers kept their level of play consistently high to steer clear of the pack thanks to the trio of Danny Bautista 632, Obie Ycasas 615 and Jey Bengco 560. Sami Al Qarni rolled two games of 202-227 as did Jimmy Mandigiado 172-172 and Jowet Carion 172-181.

D’ Barkads had four players topping 600 in Leo Edejer 650, Ladio Gonzales 646, James Galvan 623 and Dan Ednave 618. Sharing the remaining three games were Rey Beltran 194 and Romy Bunagan 171-126.

Francis Guron and Cris Villavelez rolled 618 and 605 at the helm of Bowling City, which also drew 590 from Archie Santos, 553 from Frank Afurong and 534 from Pancho Cuevas in a five-man rotation.

Alex Flora at 586 followed Amri in the Sarawat scoring with Igna Salgado 555 and Rene Punzalan 523.
