Champion Saudi Arabia will be led Mohammed Abdullah in the under-19 ACC Elite Challenge Cup cricket tournament to he held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from May 3 to 11.

According to the Saudi Cricket Center (SCC), the 14-member team will be coached by Tapas Chattopadhay while Abbas Saad Al Nadwi will be his assistant.

Over 150 hopefuls took part in the selection trials, which were held in Jeddah, Riyadh and Dammam.

A 10-day coaching camp was also held last month at the Hala Cricket Academy Jeddah where the probables went to rigorous training under the chief coach who was helped by helped by Mohsin Mirza and Abdul Ghafoor.

Squad: Mohammed Abdullah (Captain), Faheem Afrad (Vice-Captain), Mohammed Usman, Mohamed Abdullah Aatif, Abdul Waheed Khan, Hisham Shaikh, Sameer Ahmed Hakeem, Umer Imtiyaz, Bilal Ahmed Khan, Hamza Lutfullah, Zeeshan Butt, Anas Mehmood Malik, Rafiqul Islam and Mohammed Akram. Zain Mohammed and Ali Riyaz will be the reserves.
