The Almarai-FBGR Sunday Bowling League 13th Conference entered 8th week with Sweet Angel Vipers and Rollie Cleofe as the Best Team of the Week and Best Bowler of the Week respectively at the Universal Bowling Center.

Almarai Company sponsored the tournament organized by the Filipino Bowling Group of Riyadh (FBGR).

Sweet Angel Vipers of Angel Caasi had an easy time in a 23-15 victory over RG512 for Clothes of Yasser Mohammed 23-15. The trio of Ruel Pingol, Caasi and Fernie Ballano led the team by scoring 883, 830 and 819 respectively with support fro Jun Balubayan 776, while Nelson Respicio and Koko Torres added 573 and 369. Main scorers for the losing team were Ahmad Al-Qarquosh 840, Rocky Manipon 833, Yasser Mohammed 814 and Rasheed Rasheidan 757. Shakur Kamlian had 423 in two games and Resty De Jesus 168.

In another encounter, Alsalam Knights beat the United Global 23-15 in a victory that their lanky bowler Cleofe made all the sweeter when he claim the individual award after shooting the high series of 936. Efren Abuyo contributed 847, Alfred Valencia 803, Bandar Al-Marshad 764 and Jess Vidal 748 points for Alsalam. Erwin Atienza led United on 770 followed by Sam Dotingco 639, Joelito Santillan 607, Jeffrey Sobrebiga 604, Clem Ojeda 558 and Jeff Nierva 530. Romy Repia added 190.

Thales mentored by Ryan Iñigo upset Nadec Strokers of Lope Ramirez 21-15. Leading scorers were Nelson De Vera 885, rookie Ismael Viloria 833, Inigo 767, Ramon Chua 762 and Boy Mirando 740. Nadec had Atoi Ramos on 811, Jove Marano 784, Ruben Babasa 771, Reynald Medina 630, Lope Ramirez 549 and Danny Nabong 418.

The sponsor team Almarai Co. mentored by Jun Daniel smashed the Proshop Strikers of Ric Urrutia Jr. 21-12. Doy Del Moral 882, Fhel Ramos 798, Joel Batolina 795, Daniel 547, Paul Decena 525 and Alex Armada 343 scored for Alamarai. Ric Urrutia led the losing team with 825 with Ed Cruz on 791, Butch Mateo 747, Jojie Manalansan 700 and Manny Lebrilla 689.

In other matches, Carry Over of Lulu Quejada beat Look Up Boys of Ronald Bautista 14-8, Alinma Bank of Abdulrahman Ahmed edged Minions Team of Dong Yamco 20-17 in a 2-2 match while IBG Storm walloped FBGR Selection of Rizal Dellosa 20-10.
