Thales team of FBGR Deputy Director for External Affairs, Nelson de Vera and promising Angel Caasi enjoyed awesome performances to capture the Best Team and Best Bowler of the Week awards respectively in the Al Rabie-IBG Friday Afternoon Bowling League 3rd Conference at the Universal Bowling Center (UBC).

The league is sponsored by Al Rabie Saudi Food Industries Co. Ltd. and supported by Thales represented by its official, Nelson de Vera.

Thales, without mercy, pulverized undermanned ABB JeX by posting 25 big points and total team handicap output of 3, 442. Dennis Gabriel powered Thales by pumping in 902 series scratch in four games on lines of 227, 225, 202 and a game high of 248. Backing up Gabriel atThales were Erwin Nacario (893), Ismael Viloria (841), Bembol Velasco (815) and Celis Viloria (782).

ABB JeX, hobbled by two blind players, registered 3 points and total team handicap output of 3,442 with Nelson Respicio on 884 followed by Atoi Ramos 786 and Jun Balubayan 732.

Roll and Bowl recorded another impressive win over Angel Vipers by collecting 23 points and total team handicap output of 4,142 against 14 points and total team handicap output scored by the Vipers.

Durable Fred Dioquino led Roll and Bowl with 908. Jove Marano and Ruben Chua toppled separate series of 876 and 834 while Ernie Tulang and Butch Espinosa had 785 and 739.

Class D player and individual awardee Caasi, led the Vipers by tallying the high series of 967 on games of 246, 257, 167 and 169. James Boyd delighted by posting 826 points. Likewise, Koko Torres and Ricket Shawn chipped in 764 and 617. Dawood Sereno added 511 while Edgar Badeo submitted 294.

Dabarkads humiliated Super Bowl 24-8 with deadly duo of Ramil Glorioso and Obet Miranda knocking down 855 and 844. Jude Lazano, Glen Mar dela Cruz and Charlie Cheng carded 782, 778 and 733.

Resty de Jesus top-scored in Super Bowl at 771 followed by Clem Salazar (715), Jhun Macarandan (578), Freddie Solomon (565) and sweet-shooting Noel Morales (537).

Zezo blasted Saudi-Oger 22-10 behind Ed Cruz (879), Cas Encila (841) and Fhel Ramos (831). Saudi Oger had Joselito Santillan at the top of the scoring ladder with 923 points. Coming n next to him were Arnold Pineda (858), Edwin Quano (857) and Erwin Atienza (766).

Meanwhile, Itqan Tenpin Wizards edged My Girl 21-19. Having the best score in Itqan were Fareed Aquino (869), Fathi Abdulaziz (860) and Doy del Moral (836).

The match between Itqan Tornado and Saco ended 17-16 to Itqan. Veteran Jett Cabana led Tornado by posting 852 points while Reynald Medina and Butch Mateo chipped in 772 and 764 points. Freddie Santiago and Ruben Babasa submitted 742 and 725. Magnificent-5 shocked powerhouse NBA to win at 17-15 thanks to Omar Valdez (814), Shakur Kamlian (811), Anas Hamid (797), Clem Ojeda (744) and Alex Armada (722).
