Saudi Stocks showed narrow fluctuations yesterday, as the Tadawul index with a positive change of 3.98 points remained almost flat, closing at 7,054.36.
The Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) wavering in the green-red within a range of 20 points, closed just above the break-even line adding a nominal 0.06 percent.
Among market cap indices only Small cap went slightly downward.
Saudi sector indices performed in a mixed fashion, with nine sectors accumulating an aggregate of 135 points and six sectors trimming 95 points collectively. One of the best performing sectors was Insurance which rose to 0.83 percent, closing the day at 1,302.75. Telecom was another significant gainer which gained 0.7 percent for the day. On the other hand, Multi-Investment performed worst, going down by 0.67 percent to 3,676.34.
The market breadth with advance-decline ratio of 0.96:1 remained a little unfavorable.
Amana Cooperative Insurance stepped up to occupy the top position at Tadawul, surging 9.90 percent further to SR 83.25.
Food Products Company, on the contrary, switched its position from the top gainer of previous day to the biggest loser of the day, down SR 2.80 or 8.65 percent.
Top ten market cap companies also closed the day in mixed territories. The losses made by the Saudi Electricity Co. (-0.73 percent) and Saudi Telecom Co. (-0.68 percent) being offset by rise in Mobily (+1.38 percent) and Samba Financial Group (+0.43 percent).
