Traffic safety project for kids launched

RIYADH: Director General of General Security Saeed bin Abdullah Al-Qahtaniv opened the Traffic Safety Park project for children at Ibn Al Bitar Primary School in Riyadh yesterday on behalf of Riyadh’s Acting Gov. Prince Mohammad bin Sa’ad bin Abdulaziz. The event was organized by Riyadh’s Traffic Department in cooperation with Saudi Aramco and the Education Department.
Lt. Gen Al-Qahtani said the Riyadh Gov. Prince Sattam, and his deputy, who are the chairman and deputy chairman of the Higher Committee on Traffic Safety, appreciated Saudi Aramco’s and the Education Department’s efforts to educate children about traffic safety and their efforts to inculcate its concepts among the youth.
Riyadh Traffic Department’s director, Brig. Abdulaziz Abu Humaid, said the event is part of the department’s Traffic Safety in Riyadh project based on the Higher Committee on Traffic Safety’s strategy.
