Training of judges for commercial courts ends

JEDDAH: The first group of judges undergoing courses in commercial law will complete their training next week.
The Ministry of Justice and the Supreme Judiciary Council launched the courses two months ago under a plan to train judges for special courts dealing with commercial disputes. The judges will be appointed at these commercial courts after the commercial circuit at the administrative court is transferred to the general judiciary.
The new group of judges will finish training after the Eid Al-Adha holiday.
The ministry rented a building for the offices of the commercial court in Jeddah on Madinah Road north of Quraish Street. The ministry is using rented buildings temporarily until courts are built according to certain specifications.
The new courts will deal with all type of disputes between traders as well as cases filed against traders regarding their business.
