Winners of TREP$ 2013 award

The winners of the “TREP$ Young Entrepreneurs Award 2013" were announced at the conclusion of the event last week at Sahara Mall. The first prize went to Haya Al-Moammar and Ahad Al-Moammar from Najd School, Hiba Khayyat from Al Ghad School and Nadia Siddiqui from the Manarat Al Riyadh International School.
The event was organized by Prince Salman Science Oasis (PSSO), with the participation of 120 students from 11 different government, private and international schools.
The second prize was won by Sarah Siddiqui from Manarat Al Riyadh International School in partnership with Hiba Sohail and Amna Sohail from the same school.
The third prize was won by Jowhara Al-Zaagi from Al Ghad School and Sandra Ashour and and Eisha Taufiq from Manarat Al Riyadh International School.
The winners among the boys were Abdul Mohaimin Syed Ahmed, Abdul Naafae Syed Ahmed from Al Rowad International School and Syed Maazin Adnan and Faiez Nisar from Manarat Al Riyadh International School. They bagged the check for SR 500 for the first place.
The second prize was won by Hythem Mufti and Tariq Mufti from Abdulaziz International School, Abdullah Al-Raas and Abdul Fattah Al-Raas from Tarbiah Islamiah School and Ahmed Elsafadi and Mohammed Elsafadi from Riyadh School.
The third prize was won by Syed Moaz Ahmad from the International Indian School, Yazeed Brikeet from Najd School and Saqib Ahmed from Manarat Al Riyadh International School.
According to Syed Ehsan Zafer, program manager for TREP$, these winners would get a chance to open an account in a bank and gain experience about real-time banking from a young age. Whatever money the children made at the marketplace was their own.
