Another Apple maps mixup!

JEDDAH: Many technology bloggers and people having an interest in smart phones were shocked when Apple Inc. wrongly identified the Arabian Gulf as the Persian Gulf in its maps application on the latest Apple software iOS6. The error was found in both iPhone and iPad devices.
Users who noticed the mistake took up the issue on various social networks, expressing fury and trying to figure out a way to change the names on the devices, but were unable to find a solution.
Internet giant Google too made a similar mistake in the past when it identified the Persian Gulf as the Arabian Gulf. On noticing the mistake, social network users and bloggers expressed their anger over the error, which eventually made Google to conduct an online poll on the issue. The right name was displayed back after that.
