The board of directors of the National Commercial Bank (NCB) has recommended the distribution of dividend to the shareholders for the first half of 2016.

A total of SR1.20 million will be distributed as dividend. The per share dividend amounts to SR0.60, representing 6 percent of the face value.

Eligible shareholders are those registered in the registers of the Securities depository Center (Tadawul) on Aug. 2, 2016. The date of dividend distribution is Aug. 17, 2016.

Drawing attention to the regulation regarding the payment of dividend, the NCB stated that for foreign non-resident investors the dividend paid by the company is subject to a withholding tax of 5 percent upon transfer to the non-resident investor or credit to its account according to the provisions of Article 68 of the Income Tax Law and Article 63 of the Implementing Regulations.
