Definition of terrorism

The tragic and horrible incident occurred on Friday at a school in Connecticut and the series of other similar regular shooting incidents apparently look very common for a normal person.

We will not realize what it takes to accept such a tragedy, unless, we put ourselves in place of the siblings of those innocent victims who lost their loved ones just because of the terrorist mentality of an individual, (yes it is a sheer terrorism, because terrorism is inherited in their blood).

We all are familiar with the official versions and the forthcoming statements for such regular incidents. It is high time we should change the definition of terrorism. Displacing innocent people from their homes under the name of settlements, torturing and killing innocent people under fake encounters, killing innocent people through drone attacks or carpet-bombing is no different from killing people in random shootouts. We express our grief and sympathy for families that are affected. — Mc’doom Banabeel, By e-mail
