I read with interest the weekly column, "People & Places," by Farouk Luqman. One recent article on the on the humanitarian/businessman extraordinaire Abdul Latif Jameel, published on Nov. 16, has however a glaring error that must be corrected, however.
While mentioning about the entrepreneur, the author says, “His own children led by his eldest son Mohammed are now in charge of numerous businesses.” The truth is that Abdul Latif Jameel's eldest son is Sheikh Yousef Jameel and not Muhammad, and hence in the interest of his readership, the author must acknowledge the mistake.
