The fourth International Exhibition of Jewelry (International Jewelry Salon) was inaugurated yesterday in the presence of a group of businesswomen and jewelry manufacturers at Prince Sultan Hall at the Al-Faisaliah Hotel in Riyadh.

The exhibition will continue for a period of three days. It is showcasing thousands of pieces of jewelry and will include 70 exhibitors of the most prominent global houses from some 11 countries of the world. This jewelry is worth an estimated one billion and a half million riyals, and the exhibition includes rare jewelry that will be displayed for the first time.

In addition, the jewelry of the American movie star of the fifties and sixties, Elizabeth Taylor, will be presented as a major attraction.

The actress’ jewelry was estimated at more than $ 100 million dollars when she died, while today it is estimated to be between 500 million to one billion dollars.

It is expected that the exhibition will be attended by more than 10,000 visitors who are interested in the world of jewels and legendary tales that accompany its collections, exhibitions and auctions.
