RIYADH: The Council of Saudi Chambers (CSC) will organize a forum on the new arbitration system and its impact on investment in the Kingdom on Oct. 15 at the CSC premises in Riyadh.
Khalid Al-Nuwaisir, the head of the commercial arbitration commission at the Saudi International Chamber of Commerce,said the forum would shed light on key points of the new arbitration system issued earlier by a royal decree.
The forum will explore views of academics and legal experts on the impact of the system on business and investment environment in the Kingdom together with its new features, Al-Nuwaisir was quoted as saying by the Saudi Press Agency.
He said the forum will also encourage Saudi businessmen to resort to the principle of arbitration in disputes that may arise between associates or with international trade partners of foreign companies.
