Saudi Arabia has signed a deal worth $ 3 billion with Britain to buy trainer jets for the Kingdom's air force.
The agreement includes the provision of simulators, ground and training equipment and spare parts, the Saudi Press Agency reported, quoting a defense ministry source.
The source said the new jets would help qualify Saudi pilots "to use fourth-generation jet fighters in full professionalism and efficiency".
