The National Commercial Bank (NCB) is participating in The Kingdom's pavilion at the 16th International Business Forum to be concurrently held with the 14th MUSIAD International Exhibition, in cooperation with the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and the Council of Saudi Chambers. The event has the support of Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, which kicked off in Istanbul on Thursday and ends on Sunday.
NCB's CEO Abdul Kareem Abu Alnasr said: "The NCB's keenness to participate in the Kingdom's pavilion in this important International Business Forum in Turkey goes in line with the role the bank undertakes as a leading financial services group in the region and particularly its belief in the viability of investing in Turkey and in contributing to strengthening the Saudi Turkish partnership across the different industries and business sectors."
This event is an important venue to share experiences and explore new business and networking opportunities as it brings together over 5,000 businessmen from 84 different countries with 175,000 Turkish businessmen, he added. Participants in this event include several ministers of Arab and Islamic countries, officials, diplomats, a large number of government representatives, businessmen and investors in addition to executives of companies and financial institutions.
The MUSIAD Exhibition is one of the most important international exhibitions, held under the patronage of the Ministry of Economy of Turkey. It has been taking place every two years since 1993 in conjunction with the International Business Forum (IBF). It was held for the first time in the city of Izmir in 1993, and aims at facilitating contact and business networking and on developing trade relations and strengthening ties amongst members. Over the years since its inception, the bi-annual event has become an iconic venue where more than 1,314,000 businessmen have met.
