Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, governor of Makkah, announced yesterday the winners of Makkah award for excellence.
He said the winners were chosen for providing great services.
The prince said that the award will be always focusing on unique works that didn’t receive any media flashiness.
In Haj and Umrah services category the jury chose Qawafel International for Tourism. The company was recognized for its tremendous services for pilgrims and the accuracy in transporting them. Hafil and SABITCO are co-winners in the same category.
In the administrative excellence category the jury chose the Haj terminal in King Abdul Aziz International Airport in Jeddah. The terminal administration was recognized for minimizing the waiting time for traveling pilgrims.
Jeddah Economic Forum was chosen as a winner in the economic excellence category. In the cultural excellence category the jury chose the prophetic values project of education administration in Makkah.
In the social excellence category the jury chose the financial awareness campaign “My Riyal” by SEDCO holdings.
