SERBIA: A 28-year-old Serbian woman has a rare brain condition where she sees everything upside down. Bojana Danilovic, has a rare condition called “spatial orientation phenomenon” where a jumbled connection in her brain flips what she perceives. “They say my eyes see the images the right way up but my brain changes them,” explained Danilovic.
She reads even the newspapers upside down. Nevertheless, Bojana graduated from the Faculty of Economics with honors. Danilovic, an economics expert, uses a special inverted computer screen and keyboard at her town hall job in the city of Užice. She also uses special official work forms that are easier to fill out upside down. She suffers from a type of dyslexia, in which she finds reading words upside down a lot easier.
Bojana is one of the unique cases around the world who are suffering from this disorder, which scientists call the ‘genius disease,’ as many great people were afflicted with the same disorder, such as Leonard Da Vinci and Thomas Edison.
