The second annual international medical health care exhibition, MEDEXPO Saudi Arabia, will take place from April 6-8 at the Jeddah Center for Forums and Events.
The exhibition will be launched under the patronage of Jeddah Gov. Prince Mishaal bin Majed in conjunction with the Ministry of Health, and is set to witness the participation of over 200 exhibitors representing 27 countries.
MICE Arabia Exhibitions and Conferences Company will organize the 3-day exhibition in collaboration with DMG Events Middle East.
Elie Rizk, CEO of MICE Arabia, expressed his appreciation for the full support of the Ministry of Health and the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry for this event.
“We would not have been able to organize such an event in Jeddah if it weren’t for the Ministry of Health’s support. They are striving continuously to improve the level of medical services offered in the Kingdom and as such have allowed leading international companies to showcase the latest medical and healthcare technology to the country,” said Rizk.
He further added that he is optimistic about the future of MEDEXPO in Jeddah given the great strides and considerable expansion the Saudi medical sector is witnessing, coupled with the government’s initiative to provide the best health service to its citizens.
“Our aim is to bring forth internationally renowned companies in this field and the challenge was to build a platform where both exhibitor and visitor needs and requirements are fulfilled,” he added.
This year, the international health care exhibition will focus on a wide array of health sectors, including dentistry, ophthalmology, laboratories, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and medical tourism. The organizers aim to predominantly attract visitors from the GCC countries and the wider Middle East region.
Exhibitors include Gulf Medical, Leader Health Care, the Saudi German Hospital Group, Somatco, Asian Med AKYME, Batterjee, Bruns and Co., the Central Board for Accreditation of Health Institutions (CBAHI), the Council of Cooperative Health Insurance (CCHI), the German Health Care Export group, the Illinois Office of Trade and Investment, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (SAGLIKSA) and New Medical Technologies.
The exhibition is open to the public and is free of charge. Visitors will be able to attend between 4 - 10 p.m.
