KSA shoppers explore business class comforts of Qatar Airways

Qatar Airways gave shoppers an exclusive opportunity to sample the five-star luxury and comfort of the airline’s Boeing 777 Business Class seat and service during event s held in Riyadh and Dammam,
Thousands of customers shopping at Riyadh Gallery and the Mall of Dhahran enjoyed live demonstrations of the seat’s innovative features at Qatar Airways’ dedicated stand throughout the three-day showcase at each location.
With a 78-inch seat pitch, fully flat bed and state-of-the-art Oryx inflight entertainment system, Qatar Airways’ Boeing 777 Business Class seat is one of the most spacious in the industry with high specifications.
The interactive entertainment system offers over 1,000 different options from movies and TV shows to video games and music.
Visitors to the stand were able to experience for themselves the comfort features of the seat that is available on long haul routes operated by the 777 from Doha.
Qatar Airways’ flights from Riyadh to Doha began in 2002, and have grown to a double daily service today.
Services from Dammam to Doha began in 1997 and have increased to four flights daily offering travelers from Saudi Arabia with onward access to the worldwide network of destinations offered by the airline, including key destinations operated by the 777 such as New York, Washington, Houston, Bangkok, Singapore, London and Melbourne.
Ishfaq Jalal, Qatar Airways country manager Saudi Arabia, said the airline’s public presence in Riyadh and Dammam with such an exciting and interactive stand offered visitors a unique glimpse of the five star experience that passengers can expect onboard Qatar Airways.
“Qatar Airways’ unique showcase of the business class seat provided members of the public an opportunity to experience what our award-winning product is all about,” he said.
“Feedback on the stand from those who enjoyed the live demonstrations and tried out our new seating was extremely positive.”
