Al-Rushaid Construction Company Ltd. (ARCC), a joint venture between Al-Rushaid Petroleum Investment Company (ARPIC) and EEI Corporation of the Philippines, sustains its quality standard after achieving the TUV NORD ISO 9001 Certification in seven straight years without non-conformity, an astonishing and remarkable accomplishment by the company toward quality excellence.
The ISO 9001 compliance conducted by TUV NORD, headed by Arshad Ali Naqvi, auditing manager, meticulously completed all department and operations execution with outstanding ‘no records of non-conformity.’
The ISO 9001 also known as Quality Management System (QMS) is important to ARCC in setting principles and guidelines in system efficiency, technological renewal, job satisfaction, human resources, customer-mind approach and leadership in society.
Naqvi commended ARCC for its total commitment to quality.
TUV NORD is a global leader based in Hanover, Germany, present in more than 70 countries around the world, a pioneer in consulting, engineering, qualification, inspection and certification to protect people, the environment and property against risks, particularly risks associated with the manufacture and use of products and processes and the installation and operation of equipment and facilities.
ARCC completed several major projects and is currently executing large scale projects across the Kingdom and has been partner of industrial facilities, including Saudi Aramco, SABIC, SCECO, and SWCC with major international players as clients such as JGC Corporation, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd., Samsung Engineering, Worley Parsons, Daelim, SANKYU, SATEC/TKK, Bechtel and TECHNIP.
ARCC has strong multinational workforce of more than 9,000 in Saudi Arabia.
Abdullah R. Al-Rushaid, CEO and chairman of the board of ARCC, along with its executive management and staff attended the post-closing meeting.
With Al-Rushaid were Norman K. Macapagal, VP and GM; Rasheed Abdullah R. Al-Rushaid, vice chairman and president); Arshad Naqvi, TUV NORD auditing manager); Mercado T. Magno, VP and GM-operations); and Mohammad Ali Ahmed, director-finance and procurement.
