NIFF celebrates growing Saudi-India ties

The North Indian Fraternity Forum (NIFF) recently organized a social gathering for its members and their families at a local restaurant. Several cultural activities, games and cooking competitions were held for the attendees.
Lectures were delivered by Memon A. Kader Sait of the Saudi-Indian Business Network (SIBN) and T.S. Prathapan of Aloula Geojit Capital highlighting investment opportunities in Saudi Arabia and India.
Syed Waseem Akhtar, vice chancellor of Integral University in Lucknow, attended the event along with IISJ Managing Committee Chairman Khursheed Akhtar and committee member Azhar Ali Zai.
Akhtar highlighted the achievements of Integral University and invited parents to visit the campus, which has a vast and experienced faculty and pleasant environment.
He explained that the university is the first institution in which 50 percent of the seats are reserved for members of minority communities in India, while the rest of the vacancies are open to students from various backgrounds.
The vice chancellor revealed that the medical college would commence teaching during next scholastic year. He said that the university was rated as one of the top OPD hospitals by the Medical Council of India.
Sait informed the gathering about the opportunities available in the Indian capital market. He told the attendees about the tremendous progress that Delhi has witnessed throughout the post-liberalization period, resulting in increased benefits for Indian investors.
The presentation included a forecast of India’s economic trajectory and details on how Indian expats can avail favorable market conditions to secure a better future for their families.
Prathapan underlined the services provided by Aloula Geojit, which is the only Saudi-Indian company licensed by the Capital Market Authority for Indian expatriates in Riyadh and Jeddah. The event ended on a fun note, as community members joined one another in singing songs performed by guest artist Abdul Rafe and his band.
