Second phase of stress survey begins

Prince Sultan bin Salman, trustee chairman of the Prince Salman Center for Disability Research (PSCDR), launched the second phase of the first Saudi National Health Stress Survey (SNHSS) on Sunday night.
Members of the royal family, ministers and diplomats from the United States and Germany attended the event.
Prince Sultan said such a major project could materialize only with three factors, namely, good will, a leadership that acts and provides support both in word and in deed, publicly and secretly, and the unwavering support of the public and firms.
According to Yasmin Altwaijri, the principal investigator of the SNHSS and head of the epidemiology section, the Saudi Basic Industries Corporation alone donated SR 12 million to the project in 2012, while the Dubai-based group, Abraaj, was the first private firm to donate more than SR 7 million in 2009. While expressing her great appreciation to the generous contribution of their strategic partners, she said the King Abdul Aziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) recently donated SR 10 million to the project.
“Science benefiting people” is our motto that reflects every mission and objective of the PSCDR’s founder and president. We want words that are followed by deeds," Prince Sultan stressed.
Minister of Health Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah, said: “Our leadership is keen on providing high-quality health services, as well as social, therapeutic and rehabilitative services to citizens in a holistic manner.”
