King honors Princess Sarah Al-Faisal

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah honored Princess Sarah Al-Faisal, president of Al-Nahda Women’s Association, and member of the Shoura Council, with the King Abdulaziz Medal of the First Order, for her charity work and efforts to solve Saudi women’s issues.
The honor coincides with the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Al-Nahda Women’s Association.
On behalf of the king, Second Deputy Premier Prince Muqrin, adviser and special envoy of the king, decorated the princess with the King Abdulaziz Medal.
Princess Sarah thanked the King for the honor.
Prince Turki Al-Faisal also attended the event, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
In another development, Princess Adelah bint Abdullah inaugurated a Heritage and Cultural night organized by the women’s section of the Prince Salman Community Center. The event, which is organized annually, was attended by Bahrain’s Minister of Culture Sheikha Mai bint Muhammad Al-Khalifa, and a number of princesses and women diplomats. The center also honored Bahrain at the event.
