‘Suicide’ attempt at passport office

An Arab man tried to commit suicide yesterday in front of the Riyadh Passports Department, according to an online newspaper.
The man screamed and hit his neck with a bottle in an apparent attempt to commit suicide, the website reported. He then started removing his clothes, prompting a number of bystanders to intervene and calm him down.
The Red Crescent was informed and asked to take him to hospital.
An eyewitness told Arab News that there was a fight inside the passport office but it had been resolved.
