New timings at Philippine Consulate

The renewal and processing of passports at the Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah will start from 4 p.m. to 1 a.m starting today for forthcoming Saturdays and Thursdays.
“This is to spare Filipinos working under intense heat during the day. OFWs in need of this kind of service will be admitted at the gate in front of the consulate and should wait in line,” said Consul Leo Tito L. Ausan Jr.
New passports will be released during the day between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Saturday to Thursday at the first floor of the consulate building.
Residents wishing to pick up renewed or replaced passports should enter the gate at the back of the consulate.
Travel documents will also be released at the back gate of the consulate from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday to Thursday.
In addition, passports given by the Saudi Passport Department can be picked up between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m., Saturday to Thursday, at the back gate of the consulate.
“There will be no distribution of new passports, travel documents and passports relinquished by the passport department on Friday,” Ausan said.
