The municipality of the holy city of Makkah, which is represented in the general cleaning administration, has launched an awareness campaign to ease the load on cleaners. The campaign is entitled “please ease our load by placing rubbish inside waste containers.”
The general cleaning administration in the holy city posted 1,500 awareness posters in squares and streets with the campaign’s logo. The posters call on citizens and visitors to participate in the campaign.
The general director for cleaning in the municipality of the holy city, Mohammad Al-Morqi, said the campaign aims to raise awareness within the public and motivate them to preserve the cleanliness and sanctity of Makkah.
The campaign aims to shed light about the difficult nature of this work and instill a sense of empathy in residents and citizens.
