Comedian Omar Hussein ends YouTube show

One of the most prominent Saudi-based YouTube shows hosted by comedian Omar Hussein has announced the end of its running.
The reason remains unclear to audiences, who are still hoping this is a rumor. Viewers are demanding a similar show, while others want the production team to go back on its decision.
Omar Hussein, the show’s host, apologized to subscribers and viewers via his show saying, “I’m sorry, this might be the last 3al6ayer episode.”
3al6ayer, Arabic for "on the fly," is a YouTube satirical show that is inspired by daily events and news published in the Saudi media, echoing the style of the hugely popular American show “The Daily Show.”
Social media platforms have discussed this news at length, especially Twitter, where subscribers have begun a hashtag to discuss and debate.
“We noticed his lack of enthusiasm on the show,” said Naif, a Twitter subscriber. “Many Saudi youth look forward to watching the show and always want more. Now that we see this show will no longer air, we feel that our online entertainment is fading away,” he added.
“We are hoping he will not stop performing and start another show. We want to see him in comedy shows touring the Kingdom,” said Zahraa Al-Malki on twitter.
“This is a total loss. We are still after the real reason why he is quitting the show. We understood the hints he gave, but most of them don’t give a clear reason as to why he would leave,” said Fahoudi, another twitter subscriber.
Naddo from Twitter said that 3al6ayer is an objective show that discusses important issues in laymen's terms so people can easily understand current issues.
Zainab is another Twitter subscriber who said she wished 3al6ayer team would go back on their decision and surprise everyone with a new season after Ramadan.
