Hidada claims honors in Novarino Inter-Company Bowling League

Perennial contender Hidada Ltd. put itself in the reckoning like it did so many times in the past when it claimed Team of the Week honors during the fifth session in the Novarino Inter-Company Bowling League organized by FTBJ (Filipino Tenpin Bowlers of Jeddah) at Jeddah Lanes here.
Hidada returned the top tally of 36.5 points in a performance that Pinky Acato made memorable when she completed a Hidada double by romping off with the ladies Bowler of the Week award.
Host Jeddah Lanes was second on the day with 35 points followed by Sky Freight-TFC 30, D’ Barkads 23 and Falcon 20.5 points.
Alanson survived on the first week its lead came under attack from the team it dethroned as league leader but barely. Alanson, exclusive distributor of Novarino products in the Kingdom, through Akram Benmilled, general manager and Waleed Umail, marketing manager, got only 17 points on board to 16.5 by Cristal Global.
