Tata Consultancy Services deal to bolster NCB trade

The NCB has selected Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Company to implement a new core banking software platform for the bank.
The term of the agreement between the two parties will be valid for two years.
Saeed Al-Ghamdi, CEO of NCB, and N. Janabathe Subramaniam, MD of TCS in the Middle East and Africa, signed the agreement.
This agreement comes as part of NCB’s efforts to develop its electronic services and ensure the quality of services provided to its customers across all channels, and to provide technology-based banking solutions.
“It has been our endeavor to provide the highest levels of service to its customers through the provision of advanced and technically sophisticated service channels with the highest standards of security providing them with more reassurance,” NCB stated.
This step would also promote the technological development of financial and banking transactions for the users of alternative electronic banking channels as part of the bank’s focus on innovation and keeping abreast of developments in the field of information technology to provide the customers with the opportunity to get comprehensive services from NCB.
