300 exhibitors to participate in Riyadh agriculture show

Saudi Agriculture 2013 — the 32nd international agriculture, water and agro-industry show — opens at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center on Sunday.
The show to be held with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture is a premier event, which will run through Sept. 18, hosting over 300 exhibitors from more than 13 countries, including China, Egypt, Germany, Hungary, India, Italy, Malaysia, Pakistan, Taiwan, Turkey, the UAE and the United States, aside from Saudi Arabia.
With high profile visitors and exhibitors, the 15,000 m2 exhibition space is a major platform for networking as well as conducting business and sales.
“Aimed at facilitating dialogue, knowledge sharing and business networking among corporate and government entities, the four-day exhibition underlines the importance of such events to highlight the leadership position and potential of the Saudi market, as well as the strong governmental efforts, which are attracting regional and international investors to this sector,” Zeyad Al-Rukban, AGM, Riyadh Exhibitions Company said Wednesday.
“Saudi Agriculture 2013 will serve as a major platform for discussing, exploring and directing the future of the Kingdom’s agricultural and food sectors,” he said, adding that that year’s show has an exceptional selection of agricultural products, services and equipment that guarantee meeting the high expectations of participants. “ We invite all industry professionals to be part of the event and benefit from its wide offerings as well as potential business opportunities.”
Saudi Agriculture 2013 will showcase the latest in animal health and production, agricultural finance and banking, agricultural products and services, chemicals and fertilizers, cold storage and crop production, dairy farming products and equipment, fisheries and fish farming, greenhouses, handling and transport systems, irrigation and landscaping equipment, machinery and spare parts, organic farming, packaging systems and products, pesticides, pumps and pipe systems, seeds and soil nutrition Products, spraying machinery, water treatment, water management systems and warehousing.
Regarded as the Middle East’s largest agriculture exhibition, Saudi Agriculture 2013 is accredited by UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry.
