Nissan, Alissa Auto to unveil bold ambitions

Nissan is set to unveil its revival plan and bold ambitions in Saudi Arabia at a dedicated conference in Riyadh by mid-November.
The first phase of that plan has already begun with the confirmation of Alissa Auto as an authorized dealer in the Kingdom.
Speaking at the official signing of Alissa’s appointment, Trevor Mann, Nissan EVP for the Middle East, Africa, Europe and India, said: “The importance of the Saudi market is recognized by Nissan at a global level. We have been serving the automotive market in the Kingdom for nearly 60 years and we take great pride in announcing a reinvigorated Nissan offering for the Kingdom. Nissan’s heritage here is enviable and we are taking steps to ensure the future will be even more successful.”
Samir Cherfan, MD, Nissan Middle East, said: “This announcement marks the beginning of a new era for Nissan and its valued customers in Saudi Arabia.”
Najeeb Alissa, chairman of Alissa Auto, said: “Alissa is proud to be confirmed as an official authorized dealer for Nissan in Saudi Arabia.”
Alissa said: “With over 60 years’ experience in the Kingdom as a leading automotive company regionally, our vision is simple — to provide high quality automotive products and dependable after-sales services to customers whose needs and wants are the focus of our every action. We invite Nissan customers, old and new, to experience the premium service we offer car buyers across the Kingdom.”
Nissan has already begun the process of aligning Alissa’s existing expertise with Nissan quality standards.
Sales teams, technicians and all staff involved with the brand will receive vigorous and comprehensive training in line with Nissan’s global criteria.
As with all Nissan dealers and distributors, this training is an ongoing process to maintain the highest levels of service for customers.
