“Mississippi” Ibrahim is a Saudi stand-up comedian with thousands of fans thanks to his audacious jokes.
Ibrahim says he indulges in “black” comedy to shock and awe audiences into denouncing racism.
He gave himself the name “Mississippi” in line with the US state, which has a large African-American constituency.
In a TV interview, Ibrahim said the biggest race war against African Americans in history took place in Mississippi.
As such, he used this screen name in order to lure the masses into researching the name online.
He uses comedy to combat racism and showcase a day in the life of a black person.
He began his career in 2010 at an event with renowned Kuwaiti comedian, Tariq Al-Ali, who hosted a show in the Kingdom and quickly gained popularity after that.
He does not have his own YouTube show, but Ibrahim constantly appears in many famous comedy shows on social media platforms.
